Thank you for clicking on the web site of Alfreton Wesley Methodist Church. We hope that you will find it informative and that you will feel free to contact and visit our Church.  The site gives you a window into all the different activities that take place at Alfreton Wesley Methodist Church.  You are welcome to come along to any of the events listed on this site.

Our Sunday services started again on 6th September when we were pleased to welcome Robert Hurley, our new superintendent minister, to the pulpit. Things had to be done differently. We are currently holding two services as a maximum of 30 people are allowed in the building at any time and we are anxious that no-one wishing to attend will be turned away. The new screen, purchased just prior to lockdown for use by the Film Club, proved to be very useful during the service.

One of our favourite hymns declares that 'All are welcome to this place'. In Christ's name a warm welcome is offered to Alfreton Wesley and also to this site.

There is no circuit newsletter at the present time, but a weekly ministers' message is being published under the 'Ministers message' section. There is also a message in this section from our new Superintendent minister and his wife, Robert and Amanda.

Our latest newsletter is in the 'Wesley newsletter' section
