Thank you for clicking on the web site of Alfreton Wesley Methodist Church. We hope that you will find it informative and that you will feel free to contact and visit our Church.  One of our favourite hymns declares 'All are welcome in this place'. In Christ's name, a warm welcome is offered to Alfreton Wesley and also to this site.

The website gives an insight into the services and activities normally held at the Church.

Restrictions are eased. The lockdown is over and we can sing our hearts out. It's what we might call 'the new normal'. Instead of going back to the original rows, we have kept the seats spaced as in recent months, with half a dozen or so extra chairs. The use of the screen and sound system, which proved so popolar during the pandemic, will still be in regular use in our Sunday services. Most of our congregation continue to use face coverings, and a record is still being kept of those attending services.

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. Please click on the link below 'A Methodist Way of Life'
