Alfreton Wesley Church is affiliated to ACTS - Alfreton Churches Together Serving. The group aims to ensure that Churches are part of the local community.
Churches represented on ACTS are:

- Christian Assembly
- Leabrooks Christian Centre
- Alfreton Wesley Methodist Church
- Salvation Army
A 'Songs of Praise' evening was held at Christ the King Church, Alfreton on 11th March 2022.
A walk of witness and open air service took place on Good Friday, 15th April 2022.
Other activities which ACTS have been involved in in the past include:
- Party in the Park, Alfreton
- Quiz to raise funds for the Tear Fund
- Wreath laying at Remembrance Day
- Carols at Costa and carols round the tree on High Street
- Chaplaincy in local work places
